Hubbard, Emily (aka Emily Hubbard Scott) (American/Pittsburgh, 1943-2015), Untitled Abstract, c.1970s, oil on canvas, signed lower right and also on the verso, 40 x 48 inches, in the original wood strip frame. Emily was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where she earned bachelor's and master's degrees in both art and art education. Later on, she was a teacher and art director for Pine-Richland High School for 32 years and was also was an instructor at both Carnegie Mellon University and Westmoreland Museum of American Art. Provenance: The personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski. Ed was co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg. He was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.

Condition
