Sottsass, Ettore, for Bitossi, Montelupo, Circular Vase in Black and White, from the Hollywood Collection, c.1960s, hand painted and glazed ceramic, 10.25 inches tall, diameter of base 7.25 inches, artist's name handwritten on base (barely legible), as well as two Le Ceramiche di Bitossi labels and another marking in gray (PA ES) denoting this as an artist's proof. Provenance: Purchased from Urban Architecture, Detroit, MI in the 1990s; private collection, Western PA.
