Teriade, E. (editor), The first 4 issues of Verve, hardcover, rebound in library buckram, 14 x 10.5 inches, 1937-1939, lacking all covers and art lithographs; appears to be complete otherwise, including lithos of ancient art, heliogravures, text, photos, etc. Still lots to love, but missing all of the best parts; ALSO WITH incomplete copy of issue 5-6 that has the original wraps and a couple of the lithos, but lacking Matisse, Klee and others.
Ex-library, heavily worn, some loose pages, missing lithos and covers; issue 5-6 fair, incomplete, spine creased and worn.
