Roth, Frank (American 1936-2019), Bar Sinister, 1983, color lithograph or serigraph, signed, titled and numbered 2/90 in pencil to bottom, 24 x 68 inches, framed 32 x 75.5 inches. Provenance: From the estate of Western Pennsylvania artist Charles Battaglini. Frank Roth is an abstract artist living and painting in East Hampton, Long Island. He was born in Boston, MA and studied at Cooper- Union and with Hans Hoffman at the Hans Hoffman Studio school. He is represented in some of the world's most famous collections including the Whitney Museum and the Tate Museum in London. He is well known for his works on large canvases in acrylic paint.
