Wit, Frederick de, Insula Candia Ejusque Fortificatio, antique map from Atlas sive descriptio terrarum orbis, c.1680, image 18 x 21.5 inches, framed 21 x 24 inches, with 6 insets, depicting the island of Crete in the Mediterranean Sea.
In good antique condition, unexamined outside of the frame; a few small, heavily faded areas of hand coloring; lightly toned and foxed; central vertical fold, as issued.
