Ormolu miniature portrait dresser box, French, 19th century. A finely detailed velvet lined dresser box with mother of pearl insets and portrait miniature at lid. Scrolling, floral, and foliate motifs throughout. Portrait on vellum depicting a young lady. Signed at right, and signed again verso. 1.5 x 4 x 5 inches.
In overall good condition, apart from some gilt wear. Staining to interior. Velvet padded lining separating at lid.
