Mitchell, Joan (American, 1925-1992), Sam Francis (American, 1923-1994) and Walasse Ting (Chinese/American, 1929-2010), Fresh Air School Portfolio, 1972, complete with 3 original color lithographs, one by each of the artists, all are double-page and measure 15 x 22 inches. Published by the Museum of Art, Carnegie Institute, Pittsburgh; color lithos printed by Maeght, Paris; introductory text by the museum's director Leon A. Arkus. The portfolio is complete, including text sections and many black and white illustrations, all housed in the original blue covers; pages loose, as issued. Provenance: from the estate of Leon and Jane Arkus.
In nearly fine condition; bright, bold colors; each litho with vertical fold down the middle as originally issued.
