Colaizzi, Antonio George (American/Pittsburgh, 1921-1978), Birds in Flight, 1969, artist's name and date incised on base, metal and rock with black stand, 19.5 inches tall, stand diameter 5.5 inches, according to his obituary Colaizzi made his pieces with materials recycled from the Westinghouse Electric Corporation in East Pittsburgh.
