Morris, George E. (American, Western PA, 1946-2018), Western Pennsylvania Forest Interior, circa 1995, oil on canvas, 50 x 72 inches, signed lower right, framed with gilded moulding frame measuring 54 x 76 inches, Provenance: Concept Art Gallery. Morris was a local landscape painter and teacher. A graduate of CMU, he worked as a Lighting Director for Mister Rogers' Neighborhood and the design and construction of a mobile children's museum, a pilot project for the Pittsburgh Children's Museum Committee. He was an instructor of design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
