Davis, William Glen (American/Pittsburgh, 20th Century), Untitled Egg Sculpture, welded bronze rods, wood and dyed alabaster mineral egg, unsigned, 3.75 x 3.25 x 2.75 inches. Glen Davis was an active member of Pittsburgh's Group A, an artist collective whose purpose was to advance the acceptance of abstract art in Pittsburgh. Davis was an accountant by trade, and sold very few works of art during his lifetime.
