Davis, William Glen (American/Western PA, 20th Century), 10 Abstract Sketches, c. 1990, ink and marker on paper, sheets 12 x 9 inches; some variously marked with date on reverse. Glen Davis was an active member of Pittsburgh's Group A, an artist collective whose purpose was to advance the acceptance of abstract art in Pittsburgh. Davis was an accountant by trade and sold few works of art during his lifetime. Provenance: A friend of the artist, who acquired them directly from the artist.
Condition
