Group of five Chinese silk embroidered textiles. Includes: Pair of silk embroidered robe pieces, polychrome stitchwork depicting bamboo, butterflies, and floral motifs on black ground, 32 x 2.25 inches, 37 x 2.25 inches; silk embroidered robe piece in blues and white stitchwork, couched metallic gold threadwork, floral motifs on black ground, 42 x 2.75 inches; silk embroidered robe collar, polychrome stitchwork depicting bats and floral motifs on black ground, couched metallic gold threadwork trim, 18 x 1.5 inches; silk embroidered sleeve panel, polychrome stitchwork including Peking stitch, depicting bats and floral motifs on black ground, 32 x 4 inches. Provenance: From the Estate of Margaret Orr Childs.
In overall good condition. One with staining in two areas. Collar with loose trim and worn thread in one area.
