Kepes, Gyorgy (Hungarian, 1906-2001), Glow Structure, 1965, oil and sand on canvas, signed, titled and dated on reverse, 24 x 20 inches, in a wood frame 25.5 x 21.25 inches. Provenance: Swetzoff Gallery, Boston, with label affixed to the stretcher. Kepes was friends with many of the original Bauhaus masters, and was instrumental in founding the New Bauhaus and Center for Advanced Visual Studies institutions in America.
Condition
