Hambone (Native American, Creole/Choctaw, born 1956), Gumbo, acrylic on canvas, 16 x 20 inches, signed lower right, and signed, titled, and copyrighted on canvas reverse, framed in a distressed wood frame measuring 23.5 x 27 inches, Hambone is a totally self-taught Creole Choctaw who grew up in the bayou country of Louisiana. His characters and stories depict the colorful and rich history of the Deep South and one is sure to find the memories in his works.
