Arp, After Jean, Josef Albers, Victory Vasarely, Sophie Taeuber-Arp, et al, HARD-EDGE, exhibition catalog of this famous Modernist and Op Art show held at Galerie Denise Rene in Paris in 1964, paperback catalog complete with 9 tipped-in color screenprints, one by each of the artists in the show, after the original paintings, the plates are each of slightly different size but most are squarish and right around 6 or 7 inches tall and wide (Baertling's is a skinnier rectangle), the catalog itself measures 9 inches square, text in French with a few small parts also translated into English, the layout of the book was designed by Carlos Cruz-Diez and the plates were printed by Mazarine. A rare catalog, especially here with all 9 plates in such nice condition and complete (often times the Albers and Arps have been removed for individual sale). The 9 artists are: Josef Albers (from Homage to the Square), Jean Arp, Sophie Taeuber-Arp, Victor Vasarely, Olle Baertling, Auguste Herbin, Alexandre Liberman, Richard Lohse and Richard Mortensen.
