Koerner, Henry (Austrian/American/Pittsburgh, 1915-1991), Caorle Italy, c. late 1950s, pen and ink on paper, laid down on illustration board, signed lower right corner, 14.75 x 18.5 inches, in a period painted wood frame 21.5 x 25.25 inches. Provenance: Midtown Galleries, NYC. Caorle is a coastal town near Venice. In 1938, following Hitler's annexation of Austria, Koerner fled to Italy and spent a year in Milan and Venice before moving to America.

Condition
