Adjustable cantilever floor lamp, Italian, mid 20th century. Acrylic shade, chrome stem, slate base. With Mutual-Sunset Lamp Manufacturing sticker on the interior of the shade, which may have been added later. 74 inches when completely upright, 52 inches when fully extended outward. The base is 12 x 8 inches. Provenance: Personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski, co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg, PA. Ed was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.
