A powerful social realist scene showing a multitude of responsibilities of a farming family. The words Renzo, Al Capo Cantonier and Sig. Vezzano appear on the reverse but have been struck through. Provenance: private collection, Pittsburgh, PA, brought over from Italy in the 1950s. We were not able to find any additional info on an artist named P. Venturini. General good condition with signs of early crazing in places; small paint loss to center of left edge and one tiny spot in the mountain toward the center.
