Peel, James (British 1811-1906), Pastoral European Landscape, oil on canvas, signed lower right. Depicting cattle standing in a winding stream alongside a farm at the foot of a hill. Canvas 16 x 26.25 inches, in a scrolling wood and plaster frame, 23.25 x 33 inches.
Compression and 1 inch puncture to upper right area of canvas. Stained area at upper left. Varnish slightly yellowed. May have been restretched. Pieces broken off of the left center of the frame several repairs. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
