Graves was an American photographer whose photographic prints were used on stereo cards to create stereographic images. His photographs were also included in 'The Delaware Water Gap: Its Scenery, Its Legends and Its Early History' by Luke Wills Brodhead (American, 1845–1902), 1860s, which is included in the Metropolitan Museum of Art permanent collection.
