Mitchell, Joan (American, 1925-1992), Untitled Abstract for Fresh Air School Exhibit, 1972, lithograph in colors, signed in ink by Mitchell on the first page of the introductory text for her section, although not stated this is one of only 30 that she signed, 15 x 22 inches, folded once vertically as originally issued, unframed. The litho was created especially for the Fresh Air School exhibit, Museum of Art, Carnegie Institute, Pittsburgh (now known as the Carnegie Museum of Art) and is from one of only 30 portfolios that the three artists signed to be given away to friends of the museum. Also includes the accompanying section with text and small black and white images of Mitchell's other works in the show. Printed by Maeght, Paris.
