Kraus (or Krauss), Johann Ulrich (German, 1655-1719), View of the Church of the Franciscans in Nuremberg under Reconstruction, from the series Views of Nuremberg, c.1681, copper engraving, 18.5 x 12 inches, matted and framed 26 x 19.5 inches. German title: Perspektivische Vorstellung des Baugerustes, wie solches im Jahr 1681... Provenance: The estate of Donald T. Mervine, Western Pennsylvania, sold to benefit the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium.
In seemingly good condition; unexamined outside of the frame, but likely has been mounted to a backing board; horizontal band of fading along the center.
