Blaeu, Johannes, Tendarum Oppidum, late 17th century, engraved map published in Theatrum Statuum Regiae Celsitudinis Sabaudiae Ducis, Pedemontii Principis, impression size 16.25 x 21.25 inches, framed 21.5 x 26.5 inches. Tende is a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France. Coat of arms of the Duke of Savoy upper right; Amstelodami Ioannes Blaeu Excudit. lower right. Provenance: The estate of Donald T. Mervine, Western Pennsylvania, sold to benefit the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium.

Condition

In decent antique condition; sheet toned throughout except for a 1-inch wide vertical section down the center; central fold, as issued; other light, age appropriate wear; unexamined outside of the frame.
