John Nichols, The Sterile Cuckoo, signed and inscribed on the half-title page. 1965, advance reader's copy (ARC) / proof, softcover. Published by David McKay. Nichols' inscription is dated March 1994 and reads: To Tom, May your days always be filled with love, chutzpah, and a lot of laughter. Cheers + [illegible], John Nichols. A rare signed proof copy of Nichols' first book. Very Good condition: clean and unmarked contents; sound binding; light fading to the wraps; bottom corner of the rear wrap and last few pages lightly creased; other very light shelfwear throughout; spine bumpy from the old glue, but secure.
