Double page illustration from The National Police Gazette of the Johnstown Flood titled "The Awful Conemaugh River Horror, The Death Dealing Waters Hurry Onward to their Maker Thousands of the Men, Women and Children of a Peaceful Pennsylvania Town", the newspaper was printed in New York on June 15, 1889, just two weeks after the flood, unknown artist, 16.25 x 22.25 inches. A rare image of one of the most infamous events in the history of Western Pennsylvania.
