Albers, Josef (German/American, 1888-1976), I-S h (Danilowitz 208), 1971, screenprint in colors on German etching paper, 13.75 x 13.75 inches (34.8 x 34.9 cm), titled, numbered 49/100, signed and dated in pencil along the lower margin. Published by Ives-Sillman, Inc., and printed at Sirocco Screenprints, New Haven, embossed stamp to lower right corner. In a welded corner metal frame from 1973 measuring 23 x 23 inches. From Albers' famous and decades long Homage to the Square project.

Condition

In good condition, carefully hinged at the upper corners of the verso; the printed area in very good condition; faint mat burn visible underneath the mat; a tiny crease and a small area of blackish staining to the left margin.
