Thurston, hardcover, 9 x 8.5 inches, 87 pp. illustrated throughout with examples of Albers' art, published by Yale University Press, New Haven. A classic work of art theory, signed by one of the most important artists of the 20th century. Albers taught at the Bauhaus in Germany, Black Mountain College in North Carolina, and Yale. In good condition, moderate soiling to the covers, spine ends bumped; foxing and light yellowing to first and last 10 pages; faint musty odor throughout.
