Mikl, Josef (Austrian, 1929-2008), Rote Figur auf Gelb (Red Figure on Yellow), 1959, oil on canvas, 19.75 x 16 inches, 50 x 40 cm., dated and signed with initials lower left, title label affixed to back of the frame. Provenance: World House Gallery, New York, circa 1961. Framed measuring 21 x 17 inches. Includes 2 pieces of paper ephemera.
Condition
In good condition, with a pinpoint size area of paint loss at the lower right corner, and a 0.25 inch surface scratch in the red section just to the right of the middle center. Examination under UV light shows no areas of inpainting or repair. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
