Ernst, Max and Dorothea Tanning (illustrators), Jean Giraudoux (text), Judith: Tragodie in drei Akten, 1972, number 38 of 500 copies, signed by both artists on the colophon, complete with 12 original color lithographs - 6 by each artist - on Arches, loose sheets in cloth portfolio and slipcase, 16.25 x 11.5 inches, Manus Presse, German text. Includes prospectus sheets as well. Despite the low limitation number, this copy does NOT include the extra suite of plates.
Lithos in very good condition, clean and unmarked, very light toning to the edges of the sheets; nearly all pages of text with offsetting from facing page. Slipcase with light wear.
