Porter, Katherine (American/Maine, 1941-2024), Untitled Abstract, 1977, mixed media on paper, apparently unsigned, titled and dated on the gallery label, 25.5 x 19 inches, matted and framed 39 x 32 inches. Provenance: Gemini Gallery, Palm Beach, FL. Her artwork has been exhibited twice in the Whitney Biennial and is in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and the Tel Aviv Museum in Jerusalem, Israel, among others.
