Hasui, Kawase (Japanese, 1883-1957) Sochu Maekawa no ame: Rain at Maekawa, from the series Tokaido Fukei Senshu (Selection of Views of the Tokaido) color woodblock print on paper, first published in 1932, signed in block. Sheet 15.25 x 10.25 inches, in frame 22 x 17.5 inches.
Age toning throughout. Two unnoticeable tears at upper edge, paper loss at top edge not affecting image. Pinhole at upper left and lower left. Small holes at lower right.
