Webster, Kevin L. (American/Alabama, b.1965), The Battle of Karbala, 2009, acrylic on canvas, signed lower right, 34 x 54 inches, in a black frame 40 x 60 inches. Webster is a retired Army vet. The painting shows a tense scene in the 2003 battle, which led to US Troops famously toppling the statue of Saddam Hussein. Provenance: Jack Warner Collection, Tuscaloosa, AL.
