Includes Joseph Beuys' famous Filzpostkarte [Felt Postcard], originally designed by Joseph Beuys in 1985, this example was made in the 21st century and is from the open edition, felt postcard multiple with white screenprinted text and lines, 4.2 x 6 inches, and 0.25 inches thick. The rest of the lot is made up of paper postcards with original graphics, all 4 x 5.75 inches, printed in the 1970s and 1980s, a mix of first and second issue (the ones with Edition Tangente imprint are first issues, Edition Staeck imprint are second issues). Artists are: Diter Rot (Dieter Roth), Yoko Ono, Dick Higgins (2 cards), Wolf Vostell (2 cards), Joseph Beuys (3 cards), Alison Knowles (2 cards), Stefan Wewerka (2 cards), Daniel Spoerri, Tom Phillips, Richard Hamilton, Klaus Staeck and Friedrich Heubach. Total of 19 different postcards. Includes pieces from the publisher's Munchen [Munich], Koln [Cologne] and Kassel / Documenta IV series. The Yoko Ono card is particularly famous and rare.
In generally very good condition, a few with very slight creases or wear along the edges and some minor handling marks to the versos.
