Thankga of Buddha Amitabha in Paradise, Tibet, with elements of Chinese influence, gouache on cotton with gilt accents, with original silk surround, 65 x 42 inches, in a cherry wood frame 73 x 49 inches, central figure of seated Buddha on lotus throne with hands in dhyanamudra and flowing shawl, nagas in clouds aboe the shoulders, flaming jewel above head, retinue of bodhisattvas surround the throne, lower portion with offering table, arhats and monks.
