This antique Five Dollar Liberty Head Coin features a left facing Lady Liberty profile on the obverse with 13 stars circling the coin and the year of the minting on the bottom. On the reverse it has an American Eagle behind a shield with an olive branch in its right talon and three arrows in its left talon. The words read United States of America, with the denomination on the bottom reading Five D. Just under the eagles right talon is an S mint mark for San Francisco.
