Hetzel, Lila Barr (American/Western PA, 1873-1967), 3 original drawings, landscapes in Central Pennsylvania from around the Somerset area: Country Road, 1901, ink on paper, signed and dated lower right, 14.24 x 11.25 inches, unframed; Center Mill, 1902, pencil on paper, signed, dated and titled lower right, 11.25 x 14.25 inches, unframed; Country House, undated, pencil on paper, initialed lower left, 11.25 x 14.25 inches, unframed. Provenance: gift from the artist to a close family friend. Lila Hetzel was born in Edgewood, Pittsburgh, and was the daughter of George Hetzel who founded the Scalp Level School.
