Eilshemius, Louis Michel (American, 1864-1941), Petit Souvenir [Woman on the Lake], 1879, charcoal and graphite on heavy paper, signed, dated and titled in the lower left corner, sheet size 11.25 x 7.75 inches, hinged to a window mat, not framed. A very earl work by Eilshemius, done when he was only 15 years old. Provenance: Estate of the artist; New Lyme Gallery; Thomas French Fine Art.
Triangular section at the upper left corner has been replaced; other corners show minor repairs; else, in good condition.
