Abrams, Louise (American, 1941-2019), Untitled Abstract Ink Drawing, undated, c.1976, pen and ink on paper, signed lower center, artist's stamp on the verso, 11 x 13.5 inches, framed 17 x 21 inches. Abrams studied in New York City at the Art Students League and the New School, and in Mexico at the Instituto Allende. She had several gallery shows in the mid 1970,s including Cloud Gallery and Pleiades Gallery in 1975. Abrams' work and study has been interrupted throughout her life with severe mental and emotional challenges and has spent significant periods of her life in various institutions.
