Scott, Louise Evans (American/Pittsburgh, 1911-2003), Steel Mill at Dusk, c.1960s, oil on canvas, signed lower right, dated on reverse, in a wooden frame 44 x 38 inches. Scott studied sculpture at the Carnegie Institute of Technology, and, after graduating in 1936, moved to London, where she studied under Henry Moore. Provenance: from the estate of Andrew Anthony "Tony" Kueshner, a superintendent for Turner Construction where he oversaw the building of the Sarah M. Scaife Gallery, One Oxford Centre and the U.S. Steel Tower.
