Provenance: Ludwig (Lutz) Sander was the consignor's mother’s first cousin. She spent much time at his family home both in Staten Island, NY and in the Hamptons studio. Over the years the consignor has acquired many of Lutz’s paintings and charcoal drawings from various estate sales and directly from his wife’s estate (Kate).
