Ward, Lynd, Prelude to a Million Years: A Book of Wood Engravings, 1933, First edition, number 534 of 920 copies, signed by Ward on the limitation page, Equinox, NYC, hardcover, slim 8vo., original stringbound boards with silver foil spine, top edges uncut. Provenance: from the collection of Talotta's mentor and first employer Arthur C. Dimling, with his Rockwell Kent designed bookplate affixed to the front pastedown.
In good condition, small loss and area of repair to foil at foot of spine; string binding starting to come undone at top of back board; pages lightly age toned and faint foxing to a few margins.
