Preminger, Mary Gardner (American, 1920-1997), Untitled Collage, mixed media with encaustic and oil on canvas, signed on the verso, 30 x 26 inches, in the artist's original strip frame. She was married in 1950 to movie producer Otto Preminger, and divorced ten years later. Later on, Otto was known to buy her works in order to destroy them and obscure her artistic legacy.
