Pickering, Mary (American/Western PA), History of Pittsburgh in Twelve Vignettes, including: Raft in Winter, Braddock, Indians Sign Treaty, Fort Pitt, Surveying, Regular Mail Service to Philadelphia, Steamboat, Railway Company, Lincoln, Fire, Parade Under Arch, Pitt Stadium; ink, watercolor and gouache on paper laid down on paperboard, 6 x 6 inches, each, framed in gold wood frames measuring 13 x 12.5 inches each. An extremely rare group of 12 hand colored drawings illustrating the early history of Pittsburgh.
