Maurizio Tempestini (Italian, 1908-1960) for John B. Salterini Company Clamshell or Orange Slice settee and ottoman, USA, 1950s. Black enameled wrought iron. Settee 29 x 41 x 23 inches, ottoman 21.5 x 22.5 x 16 inches. Provenance: Personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski, co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg, PA. Ed was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.
