Lot of 5 books by or about Max Ernst, including 3 with an original color lithograph by Ernst: Homage to Max Ernst (1971) and Edward Quinn, Max Ernst (1977) with litho bound-in; Max Ernst (1968), Alphonse Chave exhibition catalog, front cover litho; ALSO WITH Max Ernst, La Femme 100 Tetes (1962), Gerhardt AND Spies, Max Ernst: 1950-1970, The Return of la Belle Jardiniere (1971). All hardcovers in dust jacket, except for La Femme and Chave catalog. Quinn with slipcase.
Lithographs in very good condition; otherwise the books are in generally good condition, some wear to the jackets; Return of La Belle missing a few tipped-in plates.
