Grant, Ulysses S., Personal Memoirs of U. S. Grant, complete in 2 volumes, 1885 and 1886, First edition, Charles Webster, hardcover, 8vos., original green cloth with shoulder strap spine design, gilt titles, complete with all original illustrations, including fold-outs, maps and plates.
In good condition overall, former owner's name stamp to front endpapers; minor and easily erasable pencil bracketing to less than 5 percent of the pages; areas of neat strengthening to the gutters, but a couple of signatures still proud and the engraving facing page 24 of volume 1 has been reinserted.
