Changnon, Michael (American/Western PA, 1943-2002), Sunset on Apricot with Toes Falling, 1970, pastel and charcoal on paper, signed and dated at bottom, framed 37.5 x 25.5 inches. was a founding member of the Slippery Rock University Art Department Faculty in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, where he taught photography, painting, and drawing. During his 34-year tenure at SRU, Changnon established the photography program, developed the conference system and assisted in creating the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
