Kuch, Michael, Common Monsters of the United States, number 38 of 40 copies, complete with 10 color etchings, each signed and numbered in pencil, plus the text sheets on thin paper, title leaf, colophon, and the final illustrated leaf, all housed portfolio with metal and paper onlay, inside of clamshell slipcase with plexi window; sheets measure 13.75 x 18 inches. A typically ornate and expertly made title from the Double Elephant Press. Rare on the market, and with no recent auction results. Provenance: deaccessioned from a regional institution, but with no stamps, stickers or markings; will include a letter of deaccession from the institution.
