Mid 18th century serpentine front two-drawer Italian commode with beautifully figured top, Both drawers are lined with brown anti-silver tarnishing cloth, as well as having a sliding drawer that increases the storage capacity. Each Drawer has rectangular panel including the top crossbanded in walnut (?) and then inlaid with burl Olive wood. Original hardware and the cabinet has had minimal work done to it, not any in this century. Height: 37.5 inches, Width: 65.5 inches, Depth: 25.25 inches
