20th century French printmaking school, La Ville Morte, c.1960s, etching on paper, signed (illegibly), titled and numbered 5/20 in pencil to the bottom, initialed ML in the plate, image size 15 x 17.5 inches, matted and framed 21 x 26 inches. An unusual mix of a mid century cityscape with surreal Christian imagery. Provenance: The personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski. Ed was co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg. He was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.

Condition

Image appears to be in good condition, but there is some evidence of past dampstaining in the lower margin. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
